Labor Day Fun

Fall is the time of year we watch football, get ready for halloween, and think about the holidays. Most of our activities shift from outdoors to indoors. During this transition, it is important to stay as active as we can. The holidays are a stressful time and exercise is the best cure for handling stress and over indulgence. Look for ways to stay active indoors, like taking stairs whenever possible. Get up and change positions every 30 minutes or so. Put on music when doing housework and dance while cleaning your home. Anything that keeps you active will help ward off those fall/winter blues and pounds.

Don't let the summer go, keep active into the winter months and your body will be ready for the spring again next year!
