There are a few simple steps that will add years of quality to your life and help you enjoy those golden years. Here are a few for you to think about and find steps that you can incorporate into your life to help you live not only longer, but better.
  • Tea lovers can rejoice in drinking tea for the good of their heart. It lowers the risk of heart disease.
  • Work on your balance by standing on one leg for 30 seconds then switching for the next 30 seconds. Good balance is crucial to independent living. 
  • Reduce the portions you eat and add in a few fruits and vegetables for your health sake.
  • Hang out with people you like and who make you smile. It will add not only years, but make life worth living.
  • Stay mentally active. Retiring from you job doesn't mean retiring from life. Find things that challenge you mind and give back to the community by volunteering to help out your favorite organization.
